The average adult human body is 50-65% water, so it’s no surprise that water quality can greatly impact our overall health. Year after year MCWA exceeds all drinking water standards set by the EPA and the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH). We stand committed to our primary mission of delivering the cleanest, safest and most affordable drinking water to our Customers every day.

MCWA Ranked #1 in Customer Satisfaction
Monroe County Water Authority received the 2024 J.D. Power Award for ranking the highest in customer satisfaction with midsize water utilities in the northeast region. The award is based on the J.D. Power 2024 U.S. Water Utility Residential Customer Satisfaction Study, which measured satisfaction among residential customers of 92 water utilities that deliver water to at least 400,000 customers.
